UAE National Day falls on 2 December 2026, and in practice the season runs from late November through the Eid Al Etihad week. To have a made-to-order piece in time, order by 19 November 2026. It is one of the year's big corporate gifting moments, and the one where the gap between a considered gift and a forgettable one is widest, because almost everyone is giving something.
The problem with National Day gifts
Most are disposable. Flag-printed mugs, branded lanyards, desk objects in four flag colours that go in a drawer on 3 December.
The test worth applying: would this still be in use in March? If not, it is decoration for a week, and it will be remembered as effort rather than as a gift.
The pieces that survive are the ones where the occasion is a reason for giving rather than the entire content of the object.
Flag colours, without the tack
Red, green, white and black are the obvious palette, and used literally they are the fastest route to something that looks temporary.
Two better approaches:
- Restraint. One of the four colours as an accent against a neutral piece — a black tray, a white box with a single red detail. It nods to the occasion without being costume.
- Heritage instead of flag. Arabic calligraphy, arabesque geometry and mashrabiya forms say Emirati more durably than a flag print does, and they do not expire on the third of December.
Calligraphy of «الإمارات» or a national phrase carries the occasion while remaining something a person would keep on a shelf.

Corporate orders: the practical part
Most National Day gifting is done at volume, and volume is where it goes wrong. What matters:
- Order in one batch. One order is made together and dispatched together. A second order placed later starts its own 5–7 working days.
- Keep engraving small. A discreet logo reads as quality. A large one reads as advertising, and the recipient knows which they have been given.
- Decide packaging with the gift, not after. Presentation is part of the gift in Gulf culture, and it is the thing most often left to the last week. Gift wrapping is AED 20 per order, with your message written under “Order instructions” in your cart.
- Confirm the recipient list early. Personalised pieces cannot absorb a headcount change three days out.
Order by 19 November 2026
Every piece is made to order: production takes 5–7 working days, then delivery. Counting back from 2 December, the worst case of that, plus two days for the courier, lands on 19 November 2026. That date holds for one piece or fifty, standard or personalised.
- Personalised pieces start once you have approved the spelling and the layout, so send the names before you need the date.
- Larger corporate batches: message us on WhatsApp with the quantity and the date the pieces must arrive, before you order.
- After 19 November: ask first, and we will tell you honestly whether it can arrive by the 2nd.
Delivery is a flat AED 25 per order for décor and gift pieces and AED 50 per order for wall art, to all seven emirates, whatever the quantity. Orders of AED 1,500 or more take 10% off with the code BULK10 at checkout.
Gifts that hold up after the week
- Serving trays — used constantly. «تفضلوا» or «أهلاً وسهلاً» on clear acrylic, AED 115, or gold-tinted, AED 165.
- Desk or majlis boxes — practical, and they sit in view all year. A dates box with a name engraved in Thuluth on the lid is AED 215.
- Tissue boxes — the Gulf welcome «حياكم الله» on the table, AED 130 clear.
- Mabkhara sets — culturally resonant, used rather than displayed: a set of three censers is AED 195, one AED 85.
- A name on the wall — a name set in Diwani, Thuluth or Nastaliq, framed A3, AED 185, or a square-Kufic name frame, AED 265.
The season's pieces are together in National Day gifts.
A note on mixed workforces
National Day is a national occasion rather than a religious one, which makes it the easiest gifting moment of the year for a mixed team — everyone shares it. Heritage craft works across the whole office precisely because it celebrates the country rather than any one community within it.
The short version
- Ask whether it will still be used in March
- Flag colours as accent, or heritage forms instead
- Small engraving, one batch, packaging decided early
- Order by 19 November 2026 for 2 December
Every piece is made to order in our workshop, with logo engraving and bulk orders available. If you are planning a National Day order, message us with the quantity and the date it must arrive.
