The gift that stays on the nursery wall is the baby's name, set in Arabic calligraphy — in Thuluth, Diwani or Kufi, framed in oak or white — or the first letter of the name on its own. The 28-letter alphabet poster is the one they grow into. Prices are shown on each piece.
The lines families give with a new baby are here too: «هذا من فضل ربي» (this is by the grace of my Lord) on a tray or a tissue box for the visitors' weeks, «بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم» framed, «نور على نور» (light upon light).
