Where it sits. The large box, 24 × 24 cm, is a centrepiece: on a coffee table or an ottoman tray it holds a full layer of chocolates or dates. The small one, 15 × 15 cm, sits on a side table or a dressing table for sweets or jewellery. Both stand 8 cm high.
Pink or blue. Pink for a nursery, a bride or a mother’s dressing table; blue sits with white walls and wood in a living room. The clear sides keep what is inside on show.

▸ How do I look after it?
Wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth (microfibre is best) and lukewarm water or a little mild soap, in straight lines. No ammonia glass cleaner, no scouring pad, no paper towel: acrylic scratches more easily than glass. Keep it out of direct sun and away from heat — a stove, a heater — which can warp it.
