A name, a couple's names, a phrase that means something to one person — customised for them, set in a classical script, printed or engraved, and finished by hand in our workshop. This is the bespoke gift nobody brings twice. Prices are shown on each piece.
The quickest path is a name. Three hundred names are already drawn in Diwani, Thuluth and Nastaliq; open yours, choose the script. Two names for a wedding are set together on one line, the way a calligrapher writes them. For your own words — a line from a poem, a family motto, a date — open any paint in Mashq Studio, write it, and order. Or try the free Arabic calligraphy generator: type your name, choose the script, and see it written at once.
Every personalised piece is checked with you on WhatsApp before it is printed: we send the rendered name, you confirm the spelling, then we make it. Production is 5–7 working days; Delivery is Worldwide Express, which can also carry a name. For customised pieces for your own home, see bespoke Arabic calligraphy décor; for ideas by occasion and budget, read customised gift ideas in Arabic calligraphy. By occasion: birthday gifts, anniversary gifts, teacher gifts, farewell and retirement gifts; by person, gifts for him and gifts for her.
For a single piece in your own words, at the size you choose, see bespoke Arabic calligraphy.
For a name in square Kufi, see Kufic calligraphy names, framed.

This is Mashq Studio. It's free, it runs in your browser, and in two minutes you'll make your first piece of Arabic calligraphy. Start in the Text box. Write any word, name or phrase in Arabic. Here, we'll write the name Maryam. Make it bigger: type a size in the Size box at the top. Now choose a script. Each one is a classical style of Arabic calligraphy. This is Ruq'ah, the clear hand of everyday Arabic writing. And this is Thuluth, the grand script of mosque walls. Switch as often as you like. Your text stays. Pick an ink colour from the bar at the top. In the corner, you can see your design on a finished piece, with its price. When you're happy, open Export. PDF is ready for any print shop. SVG and DXF are there for laser cutting. Your first four downloads are free, with a small Mashq mark. Or click Order a piece, and we'll make it for you and deliver it to your door.
