Each tray carries one phrase — a welcome for the majlis («أهلاً وسهلاً», «حياكم الله»), a blessing («الحمد لله», «هذا من فضل ربي»), or one of the ten coffee lines from our «قبل القهوة» series («لا تكلّمني قبل القهوة», «فنجان قهوة وسالفة») — in one of five classical scripts — Diwani, Ruq'ah, Thuluth, Naskh or Kufi —, engraved into 5 mm cast acrylic. Choose Transparent (crystal-clear) or Gold (golden tinted) acrylic. The standard tray is 30 × 26 × 5 cm — two cups, a dallah and a small dates plate — and every edge is sanded, cleaned and inspected before it is packed.

How to choose a tray. Two sizes. The phrase trays are 30 × 26 × 5 cm: two cups, a dallah and a small dates plate — the tray for a morning coffee, a kitchen counter or a side table in the majlis. The two engraved trays, arabesque flowers and the Wissam motif, are 41 × 26 × 4 cm: room for more cups and a bigger dates plate, for the middle of the majlis or a meeting table. Clear disappears on any table and leaves the calligraphy alone; gold-tinted warms the whole tray.
